١. لقد نَطَقَتْ بالوجدِ منكَ مدامعٌ
وهَبْتَ زَماناً حُسْنَها لسُرورِها
2. Sighs refused except to bathe their horses
The hand of longing only a touch on their backs.
٢. أبَتْ زفراتٌ تَستَحِمُ خُيولَها
يدُ الشّوقِ إلاّ مسّةً في ظُهورِها
