Her cheek an apple, her breast a pomegranate

5. And oh, the beauty of her face and its abundance
As if she were a rose in the shade of sweet basil

6. One day I drew near to kiss her
And left the narcissi of her eyelids drowsy

7. But her anklet said to me “Beware approaching her”
Do you not see the watchfulness of the chambers’ guard?
