1. My soul I sacrifice for the Qurayshi, the noblest master
Through whom hopes attained the goal of their purpose

2. How much I yearn to sing his praises with the song of a warbler
Prolonged is my ardour for the Prophet Muhammad

3. When can I reach that abode and arrive
O guide, give water to my overflowing tears

4. For God’s sake, my youth and passion
My patience is spent and my longing increased

5. Towards the beloved, yet no way to reach
It was Taha who was generous to people and beasts and birds

6. He whose way was followed by travellers with their gear
My soul I sacrifice for him, I have no other

7. While the soul’s love for the Messenger is little
Who will pause by the fervent lover’s door

8. And gain the blessing of touching the earth of his threshold
O driver of yearnings to his sanctum

9. Shall I rub my cheeks in his dust and rejoice and say
This one whom Scripture has praised in its text

10. Whose nature envelops perfection beyond any flaw
This one who consoles believers with his care

11. This one who mounted Al-Buraq with his being
Above the heavens, this one has lodgings

12. Glory to Him who elevated his ascent and ennobled him
Until he reached the seventh heaven in its elevation

13. Take comfort in his protection if you seek intercession
This Prophet, the chosen one, is the intercessor

14. To him incline all hearts
Neither sun nor the shining moon with his radiance

15. A day more splendid than the virtues of his character
Let me rave fervently in my love for him

16. This is God’s Messenger, the elite of His creation
This Messenger is the guide to the Gardens

17. With knowledge of the unseen distinguished and disclosed
He sees the back as the front before his gaze

18. Listen to the garlands of his traits I have portrayed
This pebble glorified in his palm

19. This fresh water flows from his blessed hands
Still my heart wounded, delighted is its rapture

20. Yearning for the one God has exalted with His praise
For the cosmos was a body with Ahmad as its soul

21. To you is abundant bounty, visitors of his shrine
That station where all illness disappears

22. He is the best of God’s creations, opener of His door
His chosen companion from among his loved ones

23. So if times afflict you with their plight
Seek refuge through him, make supplication to his noble side

24. For he is the intercessor for those who come to him
O heart, do not neglect remembering the Intercessor

25. No good in one who turns away from Abu Al-Zahra
I am a sinner while he is merciful to the ignorant

26. One who is a sinner like me should plead
And raise his palms to him and say

27. O best of creations, I have come to you seeking
Composing hymns of supplication to you

28. So bring safety and be my aide in tribulations
My back heavy with the burdens of sin

29. May you lighten the way for the hopeful one from stumbling
For which my heart remains in sorrow

30. And come to the holy sanctum and chamber
Wherein is God's Messenger

31. O you whose aid is the cure for my ailment
And in whose palms lies the remedy for my bitterness

32. Forgiveness for the sin which led me to disgrace
I have no excuse, I admit to my misstep

33. But my hope in your graciousness is beautiful
O master whose care encompasses all people

34. The cosmos shone from the beauty of his perfection
Bestow from your grace upon the weak your protection

35. Then send blessings upon the Prophet and his household
No caravan travelled to it without a guide
