1. O my hope in times of hardship and ease
And my remedy when my illness takes hold

2. And my relief and preparation when I call
To relieve my distress and fatigue

3. O Responder to the distressed when he calls You
Seeking help, Dispeller of harms

4. Be my protector from the events of nights
And turns of time and places

5. O Magnificent, hoped for by every magnificent one
And Strong in aiding the frail

6. O Merciful, the effects of whose mercy
Arise from the mercy of the Merciful

7. O Subtle to His creation, be subtle with a servant
Plunged into terrors and passions

8. Find for a soft one who called You in need
Of all-encompassing grace in ease and hardship

9. And remove evil from me, my God
I am drowning in the sea of tribulation

10. My Lord, though the enemies have cast at me
What I saw no refuge from but You

11. My Lord, You are ever the Watcher over them
So spare me the evil of watchful eyes

12. To You, my Lord, the matter will surely return
In the wilderness, beyond need of praise

13. So whether I prolong my complain or cut short
What I am perplexed to complain of

14. An immense matter the enemies have cast at me
Too great for eloquent tongues

15. So his night shone with the dawn of God's relief
And the goals of the wretched came to naught

16. Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, nothing
Escapes Him of all things

17. And the creation is under the grip of His majesty
Manifest in the forms of the Names

18. Able, He created beings from nothing
By grace, and freely gave favours

19. So praise befits Him for praise
His inspiration is of the bounties

20. Blessed are You, O Powerful, glory be to You
O Lord of Majesty and Pride

21. Transcendent above incarnation, embodiment
And the description of fathers and sons

22. All that was or will be, next to Your loftiness
Is as nothing, like vanishing mist

23. The heavens are in Your right hand, and the earth
As nothing, or a drop of water

24. The wonders of Your signs are revealed to us
And all is dazzling aspects

25. And we see the universe as a mirror of Your majesty
And the seen is none but the Seer

26. A power astounding to minds, signs transcending
The grasp of the wise

27. You merge the night into day, and day's light
Into the darkness

28. To You belongs command of the heavens and earth
And between the green and the barren

29. My God, for the status of the best of creations
The origin of creation, Seal of Prophets

30. Ahmad the Praiser, Ta Ha Imam of Messengers
Intercessor on the Day of Requital

31. Turn evil away from me, my God
And spare me the gloating of enemies

32. And protect me from one who intends me harm
And do not disgrace me among loyal folk

33. Grant me and Muslims an all-encompassing grace
O Glorious Giver of Gifts

34. And send blessings with prayers and peace upon the Chosen One
Father of the Maiden

35. And on his family, companions, supporters and followers and saints
You are the First without beginning

36. Remaining the Last without end
